Most are lightweights. Bernie Ward almost became a priest before he quit the seminary and went off into the regular world. He is married with several kids but as a result of his theological background he can argue religion better than anyone out there.......Falwell wouldn't dare debate him. Bernie was educated by the Jesuits and also taught at a Jesuit school. He stresses "think for yourself" which is provocative for most organized religions. Bernie won a national reporting award for exposing some religious corruption in San Francisco. He also does a religious show on Sunday mornings that captures an audience of people who aren't even religious.
