Sounds like a very constructive step to me...especially if Jerry does something unpredictable like mention the possibility of increasing ASPs at the SSB conference next Thursday. Actually, however, I do not think that the decision is a truly binary one. (Every possible play on words is intended here.) There must be many better choices for short positions out there than inteL represents. Good Luck Hunting. HHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMM! Catchy phrase! It could even make for a good movie title.

Patient and Cautious Regards,

Caution!!!! If your shorts are suddenly and violently pulled up it can cause extreme pressure to certain of your vital parts. The resulting horrible consequent pain can lead to irrational reactions on your part that can result in unexpected losses.

Mani, <I got the asus A7A with the ALI chipset.> I'm using ALi chipset IWill board and it's very stable. I've been editing a huge Word document, with many multi-megabyte embedded spreadsheet graphs, for 20 hours this weekend, and it never crashed once. A7A is the one with both DDR and SDRAM interface, right?

I may change my short position from AMD to INTC
I wouldn't mind if both AMD and Intel lost 20% right here. I would sell my Intel puts and buy some more AMD (stock). I shorted RNWK (Real Networks) Friday.
