Question: What percent of accounts does a firm like MB Trading have that are under 25,000? I would think that some of the smaller firms that have come along over the last few years that are aimed at the day trader would be hurt over this. The accounting of an account that is around 25K but drops below for a few days and then back up would be a nightmare. What if you trade 8 times one day and then lay off for a week? Who keeps up with all of this? I think the famous "law of unintended consequences" is going to raise its ugly head, LOL.
