With all recyclable material carefully separated out, and all potentially useful items turned over to your local thrift store, I trust!

Yes, of course. My car knows the way to the Salvation Army on auto pilot. My community doesn't recycle paper, just cans and glass and plastic. If I were really committed, I'd find a private recycler for the paper because that's a lot of what I'm tossing, but I never thought to do that until just now. I've got a pile of hazardous waste in a corner. Lots of old AA batteries. Another pile for old eye glasses.

I'm scratching my head over the stuff that wouldn't be appreciated by the Salvation Army. Today I got my fifty year old Flexible Flyer down of the attic. It still has all its paint although the runners are a bit scuffed. Loved that old sled. I'm sure there's a market for it and lots of other good stuff, but I don't know if I have the energy to find it. I sure don't have the energy to try E-Bay or a yard sale. So much stuff!
