I can't understand why people keep defending Clinton with his many scandals and obvious disrespect for the American people and the truth. You give him credit for the economy, but if he did anything right it was stealing Republican ideas. Heck, it was Republican ideas that enabled the expansion you are touting as Clinton's legacy. Before, during, and after.

Clinton is gone now. The less we hear about him the better.

You go to the restaurant with nine other guys. You are not friends, but you have agreed in advance that you will meet every week for dinner, and that the bill will be divided according to ability to pay. All ten eat, and the waiter gives you the bill for $100. You don't pay. Your buddy doesn't pay. Two guys pay a dollar. Two guys pay three dollars. Two guys pay five dollars. The last two guys pay the rest, $82. As you are leaving, the waiter runs out saying there is a terrible mistake and he double-charged you. He give two guys $41, exactly in accord with what they contributed. Two get $1.50, two get $.50. You and you cohort get nothing.

You are angry because you get nothing, so you kill the two guys who got back $41 and take their money. Now who pays for the dinner next week?

That, in essence, is the argument the democrats are attempting to foist off on the American people. The guys who get nothing back from the tax cut are mad, but they sure as heck better not kill the guys who got back $41.

Dear Scumbria: The good that Clinton is recognized for is mainly attributable to the fact that he moved the Democrat party more into midstream by adopting many Republican ideas. Unfortunately, he also will likely be remembered for having one of the most if not THE MOST corrupt administration in the HISTORY of the USA. I am not going to get into numbers with you but if you follow politics at all you must know that more members of his administration were indicted, jailed, fled the country etc etc then any other. As a result, the American People came to regard Politicians about the same as Used Car Salesmen IF NOT WORSE. That is NOT GOOD in a Democracy. If people TURN OFF eventually Democracy will be DEAD. If you cant see that then I am sorry for you. JDN
