I guess Steve didn't get the memo...
That Bill's been buying up cable companies in Europe like there's no tomorrow and cutting deals with Rupert (another of those guys that are peripheral players in the bandwidth game). He probably also missed the Hong Kong phenomenon where everyone wants to be lit just to play some stupid real time internet game with groovy graphics and whatnot. Cable subscribers are going for what 3K a pop. Captive audience. Sell the suckers a little net and ld while you have their attention. My feeling... go with GX. Unless you can buy an advanced global network for 1/10 the price.
Happy investing,
L.

Hi rob v,

Yes, yes, a grain of salt with my reading of the financial news. I realize it's all so much filler for the lack of "good copy." It's not like I was born yesterday and bereft of the nature of things. In many ways I live among the most erudite of minds. Nevertheless, even without the reporter's supplemental implications, Ballmer comes off like a spastic.

Can't wait for that fateful day when MFST misses the mark of analysts expectations by long shot. Software sales slumping due to PC sales slumping due to failure to investment in broadband fiber optic infrastructure.. People not being connected. Blaw, blaw, blaw..
The Net is THE THING.. Ballmer declines to answer calls concerning the company's declining market cap... Das ist shade! :)

Your friend,
Marty
