But Henderson believes Juniper will soon move to new next-generation networking products as early as midyear. And because of that, some carriers may hold off on some of their purchases and wait to buy new products. Such a scenario could hurt sales for the second quarter, for example, if people want to buy the newer products, he said.

"If I'm a capital-constrained service provider with needs, I'd rather wait for next-generation equipment than buy the old-generation equipment," Henderson said.

My big question is to know that having Ecricsson owning 6% of JNPR

I believe that Ericsson no longer holds a position in JNPR. They sold a large chunk of their holding last Autumn and then the final chunk in the past 4-6 weeks.

This link shows the sale from last December 6. I don't see anything about the most recent sale.

Thank'ye so much crow, I would appreciate the article. Oops, I see you already sent it, therefore, thanks again.

Techie is the underlying competitive advantage in this game, while size and market share follow that lead, modify that lead, and can obviate that lead, but in the final analysis, *any* analysis without the techie picture fully accounted for is going to be full of big holes. Have a good day out in the real world, come back safe.
