The K7 should be at 3.0 GHz right now - AMD squandered their lead and now the Pentium 4 is fast becoming the dominant processor - and AMD is scrambling with always-getting-later-PaloMeatHead.

AMd has failed to make any headway in mobile or server segments - and Intel's Pentium 4/Foster and Tualatin will regain market share from AMD at a steady clip.
