oz - here's what i'd suggest:

1) type tracert www.siliconinvestor.com from a DOS prompt. ensure it gets through.
2) clear out the cache (which you did) and under netscape | preferences | navigator , clear history and clear location bar.

my guess would be that your ISP might be having problems getting past a certain spot on the net, but CAN get to AOL, whichhas a different route to SI. an example would be if a major highway was closed b/c of an accident, so you took backroads to get to your destination.
