I think you are mistaken. Maybe somebody else know differently. I don't think GE has warned recently. I can't remember the last time they did warn. A few weeks ago, Immelt said without a blink that GE will NOT miss its numbers going forward. Absent a worldwide steep economic decline, I believe him. They have enough long cycle businesses to keep them out of hot water for some time and their diversification gives them so many avenues to draw upon to make their numbers. So unless things get materially worse in the world, I think they will make their numbers.
