Could you explain what you mean by "The 2T Continuation Pattern occurs when a stock completes a very sharp rally on the third bar back of a daily or 15minute price bar." I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Thanks for the new thread.

The 2T pattern works very well on both the daily and intraday time frames. Scanning charts tonight, GE will be of interest following the outline of this pattern. Having run up very sharply on Friday, GE took the opportunity to "rest" today..forming a very narrow range bar inside Fridays bar and trading all day today in the upper 1/3 of Fridays range. The 2T pattern would suggest taking long positions in GE if it trades above $50 with a nice tight stop under $49.48. With New Yearly Highsall the rage on the DOW it will be interesting to see if it gets goosed a bit and does it. If it does, GE will be one of the leaders with out a doubt.

The daily chart of Flour Corp (FLR) may provide a tradable example of this setup. After very strong bar on Thurs, the stock formed an inside bar in the upper part of Thurs. on Friday. The buy setup will occur on trades over $54.80.

Good Trading,

One thing we often talk about are patterns that are "in the spirit of" a setup, though they dont fit exactly. Today we had two good examples of this when we traded SEBL and FLEX off the daily charts. So far SEBL has given gains of nearly $4.00 and FLEX has given us gains of over $2.25. Having data problems so my activity has been very light thus far. I will put up charts of FLEX and SEBL latter.
