As you said, a modified 815 chip is scheduled for "desktop" support - but I'm not sure what SMP chip sets are scheduled.

I would assume that the 440 series chipsets would also be ready when Tualatin ships... but don't know that for sure.

The 440 series of chipsets(a subject near and dear to my heart because I played a role in their development) have been available for several years. In fact the 440BX is approaching 200 million units shipped.
