XCL has some excellent real estate and when exploration makes a cyclical recovery it is apparent there will be activity at Sleeper. There is no currency in the stock, so if they raise money in a PP, somebody is going to get a great deal. If there were warrants attached I'd sure be interested myself. The worst part about following this story has been mgt's attempt to promote with 3D models and releases about meetings with majors. It had too much of a promotional ring to it. I came away saying to myself, "Where's the beef?". What's needed is real exploration work. The best deal may just be to find a JV who can put up enough hard cash to take care of Kinross and come up with another five million to conduct a serious program here. This is a real good example of what money can buy in this market. I wish I were in the next tier up investment wise (six digits in one position)to take advantage of these incredible opportunities. This one may well deserve a place (below 20)somewhere in a serious junior investor portfolio.
