Yes, it will. Anything can better or worse over time but the odds are incredibly in AMD's favor.

I had the privilege of seeing some roadmaps from some hotshot companies in the industry (under NDA) and HyperTransport has more legs than most people realize. Only minor problem is that a lot of other companies will benefit from HT before AMD given the 1 year slip in Hammer timetable.
