NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Shares of Dell Computer rose in heavy volume in Monday's after-hours session after the PC maker said it would slash 3,000 to 4,000 jobs, but also said it would report first-quarter results in line with expectations.

Also rising in evening trading action were shares of Priceline.com. The company named Chairman Richard Braddock its new CEO and also said its COO will take on the additional title of president.
