Hey there NV,

"Would I be correct to assume that TA has been right on for the past 7 months or so.."

???

Well, it would be my opinion that TA never fails, it is the
interpreter of TA who fails on occasion...ggg
With candlestick charting, moving averages, a veritable arsenal of technical indicators...I have yet to find myself "guessing".
Since my return to trading, less than a month now, I have not had one losing idea yet. I have limited myself to trading familiar chart patterns: breakouts, wedges (rising, falling).
I believe if all I ever did was trade wedges, I will be doing
my best trading ever... (not that my cumulative results are anything to sneeze at...though I did give back a bunch in the
spring 2000 free-fall; which the proper use of TA WOULD have prevented - my bad...!)
Regards,
Eichler
