It is not so clear that someone who is not an insider is violating the (securities) law 10b5 by disseminating the info, at the very least, the crime is for that same person, who IS an insider, to TRADE on it.

People here trade INTC and AMD all the time. This IS an investment forum you know and the topic IS Intel. If people have access to inside information and also trade those companies you have all the ingredients you need to violate the law. Knowing inside info would force people to STOP trading those companies to avoid the appearence of insider trading. I don't want to have to do that so please don't post anything here that isn't public knowledge.
