truth is: in some states electric regulation hasn't been all that bad. Telco regulation has been a disaster, but not electric regulation -- CA is an exception as are some of the states on the Atlantic coast ... Some utes have made big profits, but we've also had reliable, low-cost supply --
I know in this state a little bit of overcapacity was encouraged except in the nuclear area -- result really hasn't been all that bad. You won't see me pounding the table for de-reg -- happy for the regulators to scrutinize things closely in the rate cases, but I'd just as soon see BAU here <ng>
