Fred, Did you see the 60 Minutes piece on Mai Lai. The helicopter pilots who threatened to open fire on US units doing the killing were recently honored, i believe with the medal of honor. Calley got out after a couple of years and the other guy did no jail time. The helicopter pilot waided into the stream where the bodies were and pulled out some of the injured. He was reunited with some of those he saved in Vietnam. Amazing stuff. Someone said here that one of the Generals in WW2 said if we had lost the war, he would have stood trial for the fire bombing of Tokyo which took hundreds of thousands of lives. When we all agree war is the true enemy of man, the human race may have a future. Many folks here from all sides of the political spectrum make enlightened comments regarding this. So we are going in the right direction. Mike
