Another article on the Compaq-Intel alliance on the blade servers, below. Not sure if it's been here yet. It is the first time I remember seeing the description below:

Really, if they can achieve Tualatin type processing power on the size of the server blades they're talking, and therefore the density in a rack they're talking, why use Transmeta chips? OTOH, IBM said today they'll resell Rocket Logic's dense server products, which use Transmeta. Stopgap until IBM gets their own ready?
