Anyone think DELL and CSCO would be a good shorts for tomorrow? Dell reaffirmed reduced guidance but warned going forward as well as announcing layoffs. CSCO announces after the close tomorrow.

OT Futures trading

Gottfried & thread:

Can anyone here recommend a futures broker? As a charter member of Cheapskates International, I'd like good pricing and great execution, if possible.

If there is a site (something like the sites which review online brokers) that'd be great as well.

TIA,

Kb

<OT> Ca Housing....

When our economy first started having troubles, I too thought that the California housing market would start to have problems. I agree with the comments made previously, that the housing market has slowed down somewhat....to what would probably be considered normal conditions.

Most likely the homes in the lower price ranges, would be the first to see a slowdown, but homes in the higher price ranges seem to still receive the same valuations. A home on my street sold for full price in one day last week, and had two full price offers. So some of the same real estate terms still seem to apply: location, location, location. Housing in the right location, with good schools, and easy access to transportation (BART, freeways) still seems to have the ability to attract buyers.
