That is quite opposite of the situation today. The right wing wants everybody to look and act the same. When I dare mention cultural or ethnic diversity on this thread, people jump all over me. Happened several times today.

I don't think communism tried to do any such thing. The philoposphy was simply a guise to gain support for a group of despots. I see no practical difference between a communist and a nazi.
