Tech Data, Ingram Micro Execs: No Rebound Yet

Sorry if already posted. They claim to be upbeat, even if they don't seem to quite know why.

Executives from the industry's two largest distributors said Friday they have yet to see any real improvement in the PC market and were unwilling to provide financial guidance beyond the current quarter.

However, the distribution executives remained upbeat regarding the future of the distribution segment and predicted their focus on gross margins and cost-cutting will result in growth once the business market improves.

"We haven't seen the rebound anticipated by Wall Street," said Steve Raymund, chairman and CEO of Tech Data, speaking to investors at the Merrill Lynch Hardware Technology Conference here.

That is a solid solution - Intel had a problem, found it and fixed it.

AMD's ALWAYS-DELAYED 760MP server chip set seems to have too many GLITCHES to even make it out of AMD's labs !
