Boeing Nears Takeoff On Plane Web Service RELATED SYMBOLS: (SCRM) May 07, 2001 (Tech Web - CMP via COMTEX) -- Boeing Corp. has picked ScreamingMedia Inc. to fuel the aerospace manufacturer's forthcoming Connexion by Boeing broadband access service. Connexion by Boeing, slated to be available within the next year, will supply passengers on Boeing-manufactured airliners with access to selected Web content as well as e-mail. Destinations scheduled to feature ScreamingMedia (stock: SCRM) services include Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, New York, and Seattle. ScreamingMedia, New York, will also supply Boeing airline and flight crew data through its service.
