Am I right?" i don't think so. here's why... dennis' google search revealed instructions that said, in part, that "Fast shutdown is enabled by default". with this in mind, look again at the 4th step. it says... "Click the Disable Fast Shutdown check box to clear it, click OK, and then click OK again." sounds to me like it's an on/off toggle box. the box is checked already by default. the instruction does not say to check the box, it says to click the check box. clicking it clears it. a bit confusing, i'll agree. but technically correct if you read it carefully. the instructions could be better stated had they read, "make sure the box is not checked". sound right to you now? :) mark
