The true inflation is in the degradation of service quality in the service economy: ie you get what you pay for sometimes only! I would love to see an analysis of that!!!

certain desirable commodities should inflate as investment dollars chase the price higher thereby producing shortages...ala energy. Meanwhile other items should deflate as no investment dollars/desirablility flows to them. imho. If they can be desired by big money look out...the public gets the squeeze this time and like the shorts as they are the ones that are the buyers at what they thought were fixed prices.
