Hey Michail,

If you were short a POS that people keep buying and
your position were deteriorating, would you try to
wait it out or cover and take your punishment?

SKIL - pretty tight float, even though insiders sold 250 thou recently.

Excuse the shoddy math, but this is what I figure:

Shares outstanding: 13.4 mil

Public float = Shares outstanding, minus shares controlled by insiders, restricted stock and shares held by 5% owners (or owners who hold more than 670 thousand shares) = 4.2 mil

None of the institutional investors hold more than 5 % of the outstanding shares (the largest institutional shareholder, TCW Group, holds 637.2 thou shares, which is just under 5 %)

Institutional investors hold 3.278 mil of the 4.20 mil (public float) shares

Thus, leaving just under 1 mil shares in public float held by non-institutional shareholders.

There are 249 thou shares sold short, or about 5.9 % of the public float.

Until those insiders or institutional shareholders really start selling, it's tight, and I imagine some of the short sellers are or will be getting squeezed or running out of patience.
