Why are you beating this particular dead horse? I am not evangelizing about public breast feeding. I initially brought it up as a means of addressing issues of public decorum. It is not, in itself, something I have given much thought to......

With regard to breast feeding in restaurants, I don't see why this is a political issue. It seems simple to me. Children, unless they're British-nanny perfect, don't belong in nice restaurants, which are the only restaurants where decorum and the delicate sensibilities of diners are of import. Children belong in Chuck-E-Cheese's, pancake restaurants along freeways, and pizza parlors at the beach, where decorum isn't an issue and diners wouldn't be distracted by a falling meteor, let alone feeding a baby. IMO, of course.
