The last addition to Groyabada equipment is a Globalstar handheld satellite telephone!!!! This is a new service being introduced making use of 48 satellites!!. The price of the equipment is reasonable, but the communications are still expensive (about 2US$/min). Having worked 15 years in satellite telecommunication, I had no choice but to get one!! We will use it with care. In special situations and for safety, it could be very useful. As we pay the same price per minute when we receive a call, the phone number will not be publicized!! The quality of the voice is very good and the access immediate. Wednesday morning, we set sails for Porlamar on the Isle of Margarita.We then sail with Laure and Rabah to the Isle of Blanquilla, the to Mochima and Laguna Grande on Venezuelian coast.
