Hi Mark and all,

I asked the following a few days ago, but nobody responded (:-(

Has anyone had any experience using Gibson's SpinRite? I'm running WIN98 SE. Gibson claims (on his site) that ScanDisc can cause more problems than it solves by deleting data, while SpinRite even helps save data in a damaged drive. I'm using Norton's DiscDoctor instead of ScanDisc, but was wondering if SpinRite does a better and more thorough job? Does anyone use it and have any pro or con experience or opinions about it (SpinRite)? Anyone with any input? I've gotten myself in plenty of trouble before "trying out" a new program... especially a utility. TIA... just looking for "a better way".

Marty
