Bandwidth Glut? Has any been following Storage Networks [STOR] and other companies in the same sector? BlueArc, Exodus [EXDS] siliconinvestor.com Storage Network's stock has doubled its price in the last ten day. Anyalysts are pumping the sector with the idea there's huge growth in data storage. "We don't have to wonder if there is a lot of growth out there" for network storage systems and services, said David Liddle, a general partner with U.S. Venture Partners. "It's one of the areas where venture investors feel confident there is growing demand" from businesses establishing a presence on the Internet, Liddle said. Investors are betting that electronic commerce will boom as businesses put operations online, which will require powerful network systems for storing data.
