What I find fascinating is that you rarely give your own opinion. You either ridicule someone else's opinion in sarcastic but vague terms, or you quote some fool from the NY Times as if somehow relevant. This is why you never have an extended dialog with anyone on the political threads. There are several people here, like X and Karen and Chris and Steven, who provide their own opinions on a wide array of topics without force-fitting NYT articles into the middle of their thoughts.
