...sorry I didn't read all of your post, missed the options part...http://www.schaeffersresearch.com/stock/active_options.htm BE is still free.. since I run QC on 3 computers of various speeds and also have an IB account...I can tell you that the faster your computer the better your quotes...I certainly noticed a difference when I upgraded a computer to Athlon 1200mhz and overclocked it to 1350 mhz. my cable modem is @ 1500kbs all these things help. My slowest computer now is a K6/3/450...which I just use for browsers and my cybertrader platform. I have my IB and a RQ workspace on my Athlon 600. seems good enough most of the time....I have 512 ram in all my machines. what I am noticing is a better video card is really required for the resource problem...I just bought another one...prices are coming down...I run multiple monitors on all my machines. Pumping all this power through older cards just doesn't cut it! JNPR just gave a buy signal
