Gottfried, You are right to be distrustful. The problems with unions is not the theory behind them, its how they are in practice. They are sometimes controlled by organized crime and always it seems by the democrats. In education, for example, they guarantee lifetime employment for many incompetent teachers. They quickly lose their mission of political reform and trade it for expediency. Having said that, I believe your IBM example is absolute fact. Mike PS When can we get above 11k dow and 2200 naz? If we can we will get a sizable rally from there. Still struggling but still optimistic at least in the short term.
