It's why the stock is up 35 cents today. Truly.

Perfect Trader Inc.'s stock, on the other hand, is down 50 percent again today. How a stock can be down 50 percent every single day for a full year is a mystery to me. Something to do with Zeno, I think (one of Perfect Trader Inc.'s first shareholders).

Decimalization is inadequate, of course, because it can't deal with the problem faced by many "securities" today: infinite division. Odd that they should choose to call them securities, isn't it? Not that Perfect Trader Inc. isn't a secure investment. It is! I'm secure in the knowledge that the stock can only go down.

I think the market introduced decimation at the same time that it introduced decimalization.
