Now you understand why SUNW is closing for a week in July. But California is conserving. Useage is down. The place with the worst energy crisis is Vegas. I'd short casino stocks now. They also rely on driving / high gas prices. Plus lay-offs. Businesses in Calif can save 20% on energy just by turning off lights, lowering air-conditioners and unplugging non-essential appliances. There will be a hit to the economy but we can adapt. American wastes more energy than the rest of the world combined. A lot of those burning lights are just for show. Offices typically leave their lights and computers on all night. So stupid.
