It would appear these are local policies similar to the Powell Doctrine. That one already failed in China, I hope we don't have an international Waco to illustrate it's failure. Powell should go back to the stuff he knows.

While I agree that WACO was mishandled if I recall correctly those people had quite arsenal building. I have no problem with people having guns but I tend to get a bit skittish when my neighbor is packing a grenade launcher. <g>
