Wow - my ancestors were moonshiners and gamblers to, chased out of Wisconsin up to Minnesota and then up the SOO line into Saskatchewan.

The Blevins buckle is universal to every type, make and design of western saddle in the world.
zackwhite.com It is the most successful thing ever invented in the history of horse tack.

I understand your ancestors invented some gadgets for sheep though. There was the sheep's bridle and bit and the passive sheep restraint system, which later became rubber boots. I heard they had something to do with the cow stool too, which was later adopted by milkmaids for milking. One of my ancestors invented the automatic milking machine. Later his wife made him fire the milkmaids when she found out what it was for. She also made him take off some of the larger attachments. Later these became the vibrator. It seems that females commandeer anything that is fun or useful. Cars, telephones, remotes: once your let the girls have them you never get them back.
