WC, The relationship with the dems and the unions, black leadership, radical gay groups is all much the same. I believe the democrats control them by getting 90% of their collective vote and then give them as little as possible----much the same as Republicans do with the Christian right, right to life and gun enthusiasts. Dems yell Bush is controlled by them and Republicans yell that clinton was controlled by the others. Enables both parties to have a base while going after the middle with a few exceptions. mike
