Check for daughters - she could be the ex-mother-in-law of your dreams ... but you're right, it's off-topic .... remember how you used to sum up a rational investment philosophy for the newbie suckers attracted to the non-reporting scam threads in the early days of SI? ... how you used to say 'Buy Cisco'? ... and you were so right, the thing just kept going and going, anybody who bought csco instead of going down the drain with a mtei in '98 did very very well.

So by way of exchange, a suggestion for May '01 - Buy metals.

ca.us.biz.yahoo.com ... but careful with the heavy hedgers, abx, pdg, etc ... fn.to is a far superior choice as a major imho, it's a royalty model, brilliant people, whack of cash money, etc ... come to the winter thread and i'll sell you on it as well as a bunch like bay.to, mfl.to, swg.to, fgx.v, k.to/kgc.ny [check that one today, takeover rumours, it is rumoured] ... and lots of little speckie productions with huge leverage and mind-numbing risk once they get rolling, smart way is to pick them up in their sleepytimes.

[edit] - stockcharts.com - healthy, eh whot

There's quite an education in the sector available right on this thread - go back a few hundred posts and catch up, give it some time ... one of the MVPs just got quoted down in Québec's southern colony - herald-trib.com
