Yes...sadly, I now see that what you say is true. Not that any of it would have been better had Gore won. They (the political parties) are more alike than not; the process grooms them to be that way. It's just reinforcing my cynicism....politicians are (mostly) evil and seek power for its own sake. The democrat/republican "conflict" is just a smokescreen put out by the MAN to keep the little guy down. BTW, I'm a registered democrat. Until a means of funding political campaigns can be found outside of the spheres of business AND special interests, nothing is likely to change, IMO.
