>>>CONSUMER INTEREST in shopping via mobile phones has dropped dramatically from last summer
It must be tough shopping on mobile phones if you have fat fingers, or a shakey hand.
But, won't voice recognition be an answer for that?

From today's WSJ about M-commerce...
>>CONSUMER INTEREST in shopping via mobile phones has dropped dramatically from last summer, according to a survey that adds to mounting skepticism about the prospects for new wireless services.<<

Months ago on this thread I had a fierce debate with Mark and William on this issue. I took the position that most people were not interested in m-commerce given its costs and drawbacks, and nobody, including users, retailers or the carriers, would be willing to pay the huge infrastructure and ongoing costs involved.

maybe they believe it now!
