This is taking one time charges to another level:

Pro forma net income, which excludes the effects of acquisition charges, payroll tax on stock option exercises, restructuring costs and other special charges, an excess inventory charge, and net gains realized on minority investments, was $230 million or $0.03 per share for the third quarter of fiscal 2001
