"it was larry merchant, after a roy jones fight, who repeated the quote, "a man's reach should exceed his grasp", then commented that jones' opponents are always within his grasp. now switch, if you will, to trinidad fighting vargas. trinidad's reach always exceeds his grasp. there is always very serious question as to whether trinidad will win or not. his opponents always have excellent potential to take away his crown. and he prevails, by way of a fight." this is what carves out a place in my heart for a fighter. :) mark
