Zeuspaul,

How does clean coal compare to natural gas? I also promise to look further into biomass. But, I mean, I can't even comprehend a biomass project the scale of say 500MW.

I realize coal is the most abundant fossil fuel, but it may take years to sell the public on new coal or nuclear power plants again. Its tough enough to get a natural gas plant built in CA. I seem to recall that in MA there was a recent calls this year, to close down the coal fired plants in the NorthEast - I don't recall if there was a push for conversion to clean coal plants to replace old coal. I do see your point, though, and agree that all these options should be explored.

And I am an investor in both AstroPower (PV) and IRF (conservation-sort of) :)
