TheDailyApple, to provide highly personalized content to end-users
ScreamingMedia (NASDAQ: SCRM), a leading global provider of content solutions, announced that it has formed a technology alliance with ATG (Art Technology Group, Inc., NASDAQ: ARTG), a provider of customer management and e-commerce applications, to integrate its technology with the ATG Dynamo(R) e-Business Platform in order to provide ScreamingMedia's highly targeted content to ATG customers. Caresoft's TheDailyApple, a leading provider of highly personalized health information and services on the Internet, has signed on as one of the first joint customers of this technology alliance.
ScreamingMedia has developed the SiteWare Adapter to integrate its SiteWare(TM) technology with the ATG Dynamo platform. This adapter provides clients with unparalleled flexibility in editing, publishing, and integrating fresh, highly personalized content into their platforms. Once implemented, the adapter enables content from more than 3,000 publications to flow seamlessly from ScreamingMedia's global digital content network into ATG Dynamo-based web applications. Customers can use the personalization functionality of ATG Dynamo to tailor this content using business rules based on individual customer profiles to present personalized and targeted information.
TheDailyApple is a pioneer in providing clinical laboratory test results along with supporting easy to understand information to patients over the Internet. The site will be using the SiteWare Adapter for ATG Dynamo to integrate ScreamingMedia's fresh, highly targeted and personalized health-related content into their server.
"TheDailyApple member has come to trust us with their health or the health of a loved one," said J.J. Singh, CEO and President, Caresoft. "When our members download their clinical laboratory test results, critical decision-making content personalized to their specific profiles strengthens the relationship we have with our customers. The alliance between ATG and ScreamingMedia provides us with a one-stop solution to finding, personalizing and integrating the valuable content that helps patients and their loved ones make better decisions about their health."
"We recognize ATG as a leader in personalization technology," said Kevin Clark, CEO of ScreamingMedia. "Clients using the SiteWare Adapter for ATG Dynamo will notice an immediate difference in their visitor retention and will no doubt attract many more end-users with the value-added content they are providing."
"As a content infrastructure technology partner, ScreamingMedia adds important value to the total online customer relationship solution," said Ian Dwyer, vice president of global alliances, ATG. "ScreamingMedia's solution and the content it can generate complements ATG Dynamo for our customers by allowing them to further enhance their end-users experience with personalized and highly relevant information."
Flexible infrastructure technology enables ScreamingMedia to offer its content solutions to many leading corporations who are already using existing content management and portal platforms. ScreamingMedia builds and provides upgrades on all its adapters to match newly released versions of its partners' software.
