You said,

"One more thing, I will be selling puts on CHKP, JNPR, NTAP, and QCOM this morning. Love selling that time value and having the brokerage account credited with money as to buying options and paying for time value that will become worthless and having my account debited. Is this considered day trading?
Hank "

That strategy is definitely not considered day trading, since you probably will not be closing your position today, instead hoping for time decay to give you profits.
This strategy has worked perfectly in bull markets of the past, but unless you are able to accept assignments of these Puts in case the Market collapses, you will suffer the fate of those who forgot that the Market can collapse.
