you rarely see anyone talk in terms of Republicans and Democrats
Although, to be fair, there probably haven't been so many people denounced as Commies since the McCarthy era. I've decided that this is friendly slang for 'less right-wing than Koresh'.
Still, I now know more about Mother Teresa than I ever wanted or needed. Wonderful.

It's the dichotomy between libertarian and religious conservatives that's most helpful, IMO: pretty much all the 'liberal' wing seems personally libertarian in most things. Which is odd, I suppose, since historically the left, especially when extreme, called for more regulation/intervention in personal life, and the right was for laxer personal morals. Change brought in by the 60's?

Hi Karen,

Speaking of tea, now that the warmer weather has arrived, I'm making iced green tea. Have you ever tried it? Green tea's full of antioxidants and it now comes in flavors like peach and mint. It's delicious cold. I may start serving it here soon. -g
