Jay, as I have suggested for some time, budget surpluses are not really good for the economy nor the stock market. I still think that they should not tamper with the current tax system, just take the expected surplus and divide it equally between all tax payers, if they do that we could end the current malaise for a short time. The problem with the economy is not so much that consumers are strapped (right now, that impact is barely felt, and probably will not come into play until late 2002, IMO), but that there is over capacity in too many sectors, from automobile to semiconductors.

I guess if you believe Zeev, then my #6 should be bearish and I should have left it off my list! As of right now I will keep it there!
