One area to watch where the bubble may pop and cause economic conditions to worsen is real estate. Failed dot.bombs creating a glut on the corporate side and former high net-worth individuals unloading their 2nd and 3rd homes due to portfolio shrinkage creating a glut on the residential side.

I talked to many people in the market and in general it's a somber mood with many uncertainties. They're surprised with higher energy costs and afraid of inflation just like in the '70's. People who went through that period know what I'm talking about. Like I've said earlier, the economy boom was created by telecom and dotcom sectors. Now they're retrenching and many gone BK, it's hard to have catalysts for another boom or recover and go on. It has to have another sector making plays like energy sector or some sort. Biotech has played its hand with genenomic last year. Networkers and semis can't sustain nosebleed valuation with lesser demand. I don't see them rocketing anymore.
